Valerie's Kitchen

Project - Complete renovation of old plywood kitchen cabinets to new custom kitchen with granite counters. Opening of a doorway in the dining room to the sunroom which overlooks the pool and a beautiful back yard view. Refinishing of the built in dining room hutch to match the new kitchen cabinets.

This is a view of the eat-in area of the kitchen. The cabinets were custom built to provide a bench seat and a significant amount of extra storage space.	In addition to the new kitchen and dining room work, there was a significant amount of electrical upgrades. The electrical service for the entire house was upgraded from a 100 Amp service to a 200 Amp service. This was necessary due to some questionable electric work performed by the previous owners and to upgrade the kitchen circuits themselves. There were recessed and under-cabinet lighting added in addition to new outlets. The total cost of this project came in under a $40,000 budget which added significantly to the value of this beautiful house in Longmeadow, MA
